Swooning: The New York Times Devoted This Week's Magazine to Candy

A life-long devotee of The New York Times, my favorite portion each week is the weekend Magazine. The photos are printed beautifully on glossy paper; the subjects are explored in-depth and along a theme. (I even had the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of being part of a NY Times Magazine special insert earlier this year, having to do with historic photos and not candy, though). This week's NY Times Magazine is entirely devoted to candy. You should go read every single page and enjoy every single photo. It's beautiful from beginning to end. There's a fantastic article on the Kit Kat craze in Japan. There's another one on the Colombina Sweets Factory. It's all a great read. 

The coolest article of all names 33 unique sweets from across the world. The list left me tantalized. There are so many yet to find. And yet I was also proud, because at this point I have been able to taste-test an enviable number of those sweets due to Check out the array!!
