This Oreo Chocolat, hailing from Japan, is simply an Oreo cookie reconstituted in new form and dipped in a thin layer of chocolate. Not that I'm complaining. The traditional chocolate sandwich cookies now comprise a solid chocolate cookie base. A thick layer of oreo cream filling tops the base, and then the entire combo is dipped in a thin layer of milk chocolate. I like it. The ratio of 1/2 cream filling to 1/2 chocolate cookie is ideal. The additional chocolate doesn't hurt. These cookie treats need to reach the American market, methinks.
