An American Classic: Wilbur Buds, Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Wilbur Buds have constituted a local tradition in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania since 1893. They were introduced to the market by Wilbur Chocolate of Lititz, PA. The scrumptious chocolate morsels are produced in the shape of flower bud. Wilbur Buds preceded a similarly shaped product from 20 miles down the road, Hershey's Chocolate Kisses, that began production in 1907.  Delicious and addictive, I'm so pleased to have gotten the chance to try some of these classic candies. Thanks, Amy and Pat!
